Traffic stop leads to drug charges

A traffic stop in Wilmot Township results in a Stratford man facing drug charges.

Regional Police say a vehicle was stopped early yesterday in the Walker Road area and the driver charged with driving while under suspension.

Police say a search of the vehicle then turned up over 500 grams of crystal methamphetamine with an approximate street value of $77,000.

A 27-year-old Stratford man faces several charges, including possession of controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
