Fire crews, paramedics, and police are still at the scene of what they believe to be an illegal drug lab.
Police raided an industrial building on Jarvis Street in Cambridge yesterday afternoon.
That’s in the Coronation Boulevard and Hespeler Road area.
Investigators wearing protective equipment made the area safe and seized chemicals used to manufacture drugs.
Neighbours say they heard the lab was used to produce crystal meth.
They say it scares them to think something like that could happen on the quiet street.
Police are stressing that there is no safety concern for residents.
They also expect to be at the scene for several days as the investigation continues.
So far there have been no arrests.
