Kitchener improving on accessibility

The latest Jane’s Walk in downtown Kitchener to draw attention to accessibility concerns found the city has made great strides in recent years, but there’s still a ways to go.

This morning’s Record reports Edward Faruzel took part in the walk.

He is in a wheelchair and ran into problems at Victoria Park when his chair got stuck in the interlocking brick outside the Boathouse.

Still,  Faruzel and many others who took part, say there has been steady improvement in the city and Kitchener may very well rank as one of the better communities when it comes to accessibility.
