Rangers Select Matia Marcantuoni

The OHL Entry Draft is underway.
The Kitchener Rangers selected 18th and chose Matia Marcantuoni. He had 72 points in 77 games to go along with 64 penalty minutes for the Toronto Marlboros. The Woodbridge native is 6-feet tall and 180 pounds. He was the Alternate captain.
The Sarnia Sting selected Alex Galchenyuk, an American born forward who has played in Russia for the past couple years, with the first overall pick.
Belleville followed, and selected Brendan Gaunce, brother of Mississauga Majors Captain, Cameron Gaunce.
The third pick went to the Oshawa Generals who selected Scott Laughton from the Toronto Marlboros
