Man police allegedly shot facing charges

A Waterloo man allegedly shot by police three weeks ago, is now facing a slew of charges.

They’re connected to an incident at an Erb Street West apartment.

Police say a 47 year old man was assaulted.

Ryan Arcon is charged with possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, assaulting a police officer,
and assault with a weapon.

He has also been released from hospital.

The Province’s Special Investigations Unit is probing the shooting.
