Local foundations honoured for excellence

The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation and the Cambridge and North Dumfries Community Foundation are beginning to monopolize the Wilmer Shields Rich Awards Program.
For the third straight year, they’ve been honoured for excellence in communications.
They’ll be presented with a silver award next month in Atlanta at the Council on Foundations’ Annual Conference.
The award falls under the Special Report category for their work on Waterloo Region’s Vital Signs report – a quality of life checkup.
