Night at the Oscars at Wildcraft

Film lovers can gather in Waterloo this weekend to watch the 82nd Annual Academy Awards.
The Grand River Film Festival presents a Night at the Oscars at Wildcraft restaurant.
The night will include contests and prizes then beginning at 8:00 p.m. the show begins.
GRFF Chair David Marskell says this is a chance for film lovers to have some fun discussing the movies up for awards and then watch as the Oscars are awarded.
As for his own predictions, he says he has a feeling Kathryn Bigelow will win for Best Director, but says he’s not sure what will take home Best Film between Avatar and The Hurt Locker.
The Oscar party is in support of the GRFF, which will hold its fourth annual film festival October 21-24, 2010.
Entrance to A Night at The Oscars and 2010 GRFF Membership is: $20.00 a person, $10.00 for Students.
Tickets are available at Wildcraft in Waterloo or The Museum in Downtown Kitchener.
