30 trades were done before the NHL’s 3 o’clock trade deadline.
Cambridge native Scott Walker has been traded to Washington.
Carolina gets a 7th round draft pick.
Toronto, Carolina, Phoenix, and Washington were among the most active teams.
The Leafs sent Lee Stempniak to the Coyotes, Joey MacDonald to Anaheim, and Martin Skoula to the Devils.
Toronto gets four draft picks in return, the highest is a 4th rounder.
The Buds also acquired defenceman Chris Peluso from Pittsburgh.
