College strike averted

Teachers at Ontario colleges have accepted a final contract offer from the colleges.
The Ontario Labour Relations Board confirmed that a 51.45 per cent majority accepted the offer.
The union representing faculty at the colleges says it’s disappointed, but not surprised, the instructors have accepted the colleges’ contract offer.
OP-SEU negotiator Ted Montgomery said it was not an endorsement of the offer.
He says very few of the faculty members thought the contract was a good offer but they just don’t want to go on strike this time.
