Kitchener mom suing school board over bullying

The mother of a Kitchener boy is reportedly suing the Waterloo Region Catholic School Board and the Region of Waterloo, alleging they failed to protect her nine-year-old against bullying.
Tuesday’s Record reports it could be the first such lawsuit ever launched in Ontario.
Both suits have been filed in small claims court and each seek $25,000.
The woman claims her son has been beaten up repeatedly at Canadian Martyrs Catholic School on Confederation Drive.
She says the attacks started in September 2008.
