Attempted robbery at Kitchener’s Walper Terrace Hotel

A bizarre attempted robbery in Kitchener Tuesday night, as a man tried to hold up the Walper Terrace Hotel on King Street armed with a machete.
Police say the man attempted to hold up the clerk around 7:30 but left empty handed.
Police are looking for a white man, in his forties, 5′ 7″, with a medium build and short, dark, curly hair.
