Mild weather expected across the country

You can put away the toque, scarf, and mittens today as the mild January temperatures are expected to continue.
In Waterloo Region, temperatures are expected to be as high as 7 today, according to 570 News Weather Specialist John Wilson.
It’s not just Southern Ontario getting a blast of spring-like temperatures. Most of Canada is experiencing the same thing this winter. Environment Canada credits El Nino for the milder than usual weather.
In Toronto, it’s expected to reach nine today — 11 degrees warmer than normal.
