More aftershocks in Haiti

Two more aftershocks have rattled Haiti’s capital of Port-au-Prince.

But, neither was as strong as yesterday’s 5.9-magnitude earthquake.

The U-S Geological Survey has given a preliminary magnitude estimate of 4.9 for one of the aftershocks.

There have been at least 50 aftershocks of magnitude 4.5 or greater since the initial January 12th quake.

A report says at least two million people in Haiti are homeless.

Meantime, Canadian celebrities will gather for “Canada for Haiti” tomorrow night.

It will air on CTV, Global Television, and CBC at 7-pm and include performances from Céline Dion, Stratford native Justin Bieber, and Simple Plan.

Actors William Shatner and Michael J. Fox will also be making appearances, along with hockey superstar Wayne Gretzky.
