A Guelph man is facing hate crimes in connection with a number of acts of vandalism throughout the city.
83-year-old Max Mahr was arrested at the end of September of 2009.
Police say graffiti and anti-semitic symbols were sprayed at Stone Road Mall, Riverside Park, the Meadovale Garden Centre and Wal-Mart.
As part of the continuing investigation Mahr has been further charged with one count of Wilful Promotion of Hate under the Criminal Code.
He’s scheduled in court February 5th.
