Price of aboriginal protest mounting

The aboriginal protest in Caledonia is costing the province millions.
So far, the bill for dealing with the protest is $64million dollars and that does not include the nearly 16-million dollars the province paid for the former Douglas Creek Estates, which was occupied by protesters from Six Nations.
It also doesn’t include the cost of a recent out-of-court settlement between the Ontario government and a Caledonia couple who were suing the province and the OPP.
