Fog advisory issued on Christmas morning (update)

Environment Canada has issued a fog advisory for Waterloo Region and Wellington County.

The national weather agency says dense fog is expected Saturday morning, continuing into the afternoon, but periods of rain may help ease the conditions in some areas.

Visibility could be significantly and suddenly reduced on roadways.

Motorists are advised to use caution.
