Waterloo resident facing assault charge in connection with domestic incident in Listowel

One person is facing charges following an investigation into a domestic incident in North Perth. On October 5, 2021, just after 4:00 p.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an altercation in progress on Campbell Street West in Listowel. During the investigation, police determined that an assault had occurred.
As a result, a 44-year-old resident of Waterloo was arrested and charged with:
- Assault – Spousal
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge.
