Red paint poured on Queen Victoria statue in Victoria Park

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after red paint was poured over the Queen Victoria statue at Victoria Park in Kitchener. 

On July 1, 2021, at approximately 12:15 p.m., police responded to a report of property damage at 80 Schneider Avenue. It is unknown at this time when the incident occurred. 

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 519-570-9777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
