Pedestrian charged after crash in Kitchener

Regional police have charged a 52-year-old Kitchener man after he was struck by a vehicle in Kitchener.

Police were called to a crash at the intersection of Bridge and Lancaster around 11:40 a.m. Wednesday.

Police said a pedestrian was hit by a Ford pickup truck towing a large utility trailer while trying to cross Lancaster.

The pedestrian was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and was later charged with failing to yield at a crossover.
