Man stabbed in Waterloo

A youth is facing charges following a stabbing in Waterloo.

It happened around 2 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of King Street North and Bridgeport Road.

Police say they were called to break up a fight involving two males.

Upon arrival, officers located a 23-year-old man with stab wounds. 

He was taken to hospital and has since been released.

The young male who was arrested has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
