Male injured during stabbing in Uptown Waterloo

A male is in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a stabbing incident in Uptown Waterloo.

Police were called to the area of King Street North and Princess Street East, shortly after 2 a.m. Friday.

When officers arrived, they located a male suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a hospital outside of the region.

According to police, there was a fight between two males, with one allegedly stabbing the other before fleeing the area on foot.

Investigators are looking to speak with the person pictured here.
