Kitchener resident accused of break and enter in eastern Ontario

On December 7, 2020 at about 12:35 p.m. officers from Leeds County OPP responded to a residential break and enter on Yonge Mills Road, Front of Yonge Township. The homeowner advised that cash and other personal belongings were taken sometime overnight. A short time later police located the suspect approximately 400 meters from the location.

Salah AL-SAMA'NEH, 23 years old from Kitchener, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

  • Break, enter dwelling house- commit indictable offence – Criminal Code 348(1)(b)
  • Mischief under $5000 – Criminal Code 430(4)
  • Possession property obtained by crime under $5000 – Criminal Code 355(b)

The accused was held for bail.
