Kitchener collision leaves woman in serious condition

A 26-year-old woman remains in hospital in serious condition following an early morning collision in Kitchener. 

According to regional police, officers responded to the area of Victoria Street North and Lancaster Street West around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday for reports of a collision involving a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. 

That 26-year-old was crossing Victoria Street North when she was allegedly struck by a black Toyota car. The woman was transported to an out-of-region hospital with a head injury. 

The 61-year-old male driver of the Toyota did not suffer any injuries as a result of the collision. 

Anyone with dash-cam footage or information is being asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
