The 2023 university football season will begin on Saturday, August 26.
Wilfrid Laurier University will open its season on the road that day at 1 p.m. in Kingston vs. Queen's.
Laurier's first home game will be September 2, when the Golden Hawks face Carleton.
The University of Waterloo is also set to open its season on the road. On Aug. 26 at 1 p.m., the Warriors will play the Gee-Gees in Ottawa.
UW's first home game is Sept. 3 vs. York.
Another game of note is the Battle of Waterloo. Laurier will host that game on Sept. 16.
This past season, Laurier made it to the semi-finals, losing to the Western Mustangs. UW finished 1 and 7, missing the post-season.
