Cambridge’s Jet Greaves signs NHL deal with Columbus

By Mark Pare

Another local hockey player has made the move up to the show.

Cambridge native Jet Greaves has signed his three-year entry-level contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets, and was immediately sent to Buffalo to serve as backup in the Blue Jackets' 7-3 win over the Sabres Sunday.

Greaves was signed by the Cleveland Monsters (AHL) this past July, and has split time this season with the Monsters and the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings.

The 20-year-old played his junior career with the Barrie Colts, where he posted a 20-27-5 record between 2018 and 2020.
