It could be a rough Friday morning commute.

Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Waterloo Region and Wellington County.

The national weather agency says precipitation will move into southern Ontario early Friday, and freezing rain could persist for several hours.

The conditions will end once the temperature rises above the freezing mark, but in the meantime, motorists will need to use caution.
