Special weather statement ended for Waterloo Region (updated)

Environment Canada has lifted its wind warning & special weather statement previously in effect for Waterloo Region and southern Wellington County

The weather agency had previously warned of strong southwesterly winds throughout Friday afternoon, easing through the evening hours.
