Regular garbage bag limits to return Oct. 5

The Region of Waterloo has announced that regular garbage bag limits will be back in effect as of Monday, October 5.
It means four bags or cans can be put out for single family homes, and ten bags for eligible small apartment buildings.
Due to COVID-19, residents are also being reminded to keep a safe distance from collection crews.
Compost is also available at the waste transfer stations in Cambridge and Waterloo, as of Tues. September 15.

- Maximum five bushels
- Bring your own shovel and containers
- Location and hours:
- 925 Erb Street West (Gate 2), Waterloo, Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- 201 Savage Drive, Cambridge, Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Residents are reminded to practice physical distancing while on-site.
