Loblaws team member tests positive for COVID-19 at Kitchener Superstore location

According to an email sent to 570 NEWS by Loblaws, a team member from the Real Canadian Superstore on Highland Road West in Kitchener has tested positive on a presumptive test for COVID-19.
The supermarket chain says they’ve been working with public health and have taken several steps to minimize risk to customers and staff – including increased sanitization measures and enforcing of social distancing practices in store.
The store has also arranged for additional cleaning to be conducted.
In the email, the company says that team members who may have been in close contact with the COVID-19 positive individual are now at home in self-isolation, monitoring for the development of any symptoms.
