Kitchener filmmaker wins award

A local filmmaker was a recent winner at Hollywood Horrorfest in Los Angeles.
Eduardo Soto-Falcon's 'Dhampira' won the second place award in the feature-film screenplay competition.
“Being recognized internationally is very special to me as it validates endless days spent writing and editing screenplays.” Soto-Falcon told KitchenerToday.
“It inspires me to keep pursuing my goals and dreams, and gives me hope to get doors opened for me and other filmmakers in the Waterloo Region.” he added.
