Kitchener company donates $10K to community groups ahead of holiday season

Kitchener-based ECU – A Division of WFCU Credit Union, recently donated over $10,000 to community groups and programs, across Waterloo Region.

The president and CEO of WFCU Credit Union says giving back is part of their mission as a credit union.

“With these charitable donations, our goal is not only to help brighten the holiday season in the Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge region, but also to show our deep appreciation for being part of such an amazing community.” Eddie Francis said.

ECU also sponsored a “Spirit of Giving” campaign for employees.

They were each given $100 to donate to a community group or organization of their choosing. Over $3,000 went to 20 plus different groups.
