Flair Airlines announces service to Montreal as ownership ruling faces delay

By Stuart McGinn

Despite the ongoing investigation into its ownership and having its licence under review by federal regulators, Flair Airlines is still moving full steam ahead.

This week, Flair announced new service from Kitchener to Montreal, starting July 7.

The news came as the Canadian Transportation Agency announced a delay to the ruling of Flair's license.

That ruling will now be made on June 1, rather than the original plans for it to released sometime in early May.

Flair Airlines has a busy month of June on its schedule, with 160 flights set to takeoff from the Region of Waterloo International Airport.

The airline has maintained confidence that it will not lose its license to operate in Canada.
