Expect strong winds Wednesday (update)

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Waterloo Region warning of strong winds on Wednesday.
They are expected to begin in the afternoon and continue into the evening.
The weather agency says gusts of 70 to 90 km/h are possible. Showers and thunderstorms are also in the forecast.
Environment Canada warns loose objects may be tossed around by the wind. The high winds may also result in power outages and fallen tree branches.
