Roadwork for the week of December 19

MONDAY, DECEMBER 19

Kitchener

Fischer-Hallman Road is partially closed from Westmount Road East to Cotton Grass Street for utility work until Friday. Two-way traffic maintained; expect delays. 

The intersection of Westheights Drive and Highland Road West is partially closed for Grand River Transit work until Wednesday. Two-way traffic maintained; expect delays. 

The intersection of Westmount Road East and Ottawa Street South is partially closed until Friday. Two-way traffic maintained; expect delays.

 

Waterloo

The intersection of Weber Street North and Golden Eagle Road has a lane reduction in effect for utility work until Friday. Two-way traffic maintained; expect delays. 

Princess Street is closed from Regina Street North to Peppler Street for emergency water main repair until Tuesday at 3 p.m. No through traffic. 

 

Elmira

Church Street East has a lane reduction in effect through Memorial Avenue for utility work until Friday. Two-way traffic maintained; expect delays. 

 

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 20

Kitchener

Madison Avenue South is closed from King Street East to Charles Street East for concrete replacement until the end of the day. 

 

Waterloo

The intersection of Weber Street North and Lodge Street has a lane reduction in effect until the end of the day. Two-way traffic maintained; expect delays. 

Hughes Lane is closed from Erb Street East to Laurel Trail for sewer work until 5:00 p.m. Road closed at 34 King Street South. No through traffic. 

 

Cambridge

Avenue Road is closed from Elgin Street North to Franklin Boulevard until 4:00 p.m. All lanes impacted; local access provided. 

 

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 21

Kitchener

Moore Avenue is closed from Breithaupt Street to Wellington Street North for crane operation. 

 

Cambridge

George Street North has a lane reduction in effect from Salisbury Avenue to South Square for utility work until Friday. Two-way traffic maintained; expect delays. 

 

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 22

Cambridge

There is a lane reduction in effect at 499 Main Street for utility work until the end of the day. Two-way traffic maintained.
