Changes to the CityNews Insider Club
In order to improve our Insider Club program, we are making changes to the experience for users of citynews.ca.
You can still subscribe to our alerts and newsletters in a simplified format, without logging in. If you wish to end any of your existing subscriptions, you may do so at any time using the “unsubscribe” link found at the bottom of any one of our emails.

What happens to my old Insider Club account?
Your former "Insider Club" account on citynews.ca, containing your username and other personal details no longer exists in its former state.
Any personal information from your old account will be removed from our records as per privacy and information requirements.

Your contest entries remain unchanged.
Any entries you have made to our contests, such as the Weather Guarantee are still valid and accounted for.
As you do not need to sign in to enter our contests, you can continue to do so as before, entering your details when required.

How do I change my email address?
As there is no longer an account associated with your email, you cannot 'change it'.
If you wish to subscribe to newsletters from a new address, simply sign up using that address,
and click "unsubscribe" at the bottom of the email from whichever account you want to stop receiving them.

Occassionally system errors can cause a delay in updating user preferences, we ask that if you receive another email shortly after unsubscribing that you wait for a second erroneous email before seeking assistance.
