Suspects smash glass door in Kitchener break-in: WRPS

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is investigating a Kitchener break-in that saw a pair of suspects smash a glass patio door to get inside.

Police think the residential break-and-enter happened between 8:20 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 15.

A home in the Newbury Dr. and Rolling Meadows Dr. area was targeted and police say the thieves gained entry by smashing the glass on a sliding patio door.

The two male suspects then stole various items and left the home.

One of the suspects was wearing a black tracksuit at the time, while the other was wearing a blue jacket with dark-coloured pants.

WRPS continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to call 519-570-9777.
