Drunk driver from Waterloo charged in cottage country: OPP

Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said a Waterloo driver in their late-twenties was behind the wheel drunk and under the influence of drugs.
On the Monday of the Civic Holiday long weekend, police said there were reports of a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 60 in Huntsville, just after 9:00 p.m.
Before police arrived on scene, the driver was able to get out of the ditch and continue on their way.
Officers later found the vehicle stopped on the side of the highway.
27-year-old Madelyn Smith from Waterloo is facing a few charges including operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
