Kitchener driver charged in hit-and-run crash involving pedestrian

A hit-and-run crash in The Blue Mountains involving a pedestrian has led to the arrest of a driver from Kitchener.
Collingwood OPP responded to the collision on Grey Road 19 around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 31.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, which was driven away afterwards.
The incident sparked a search by provincial police, who arrested a suspect on Feb. 5.
The accused has been identified as a 31-year-old man from Kitchener. He has been charged with failing to stop at an accident resulting in bodily harm.
OPP continue to appeal for witnesses or anyone who has dash cam video of a grey Acura CSX with significant front-end damage, which travelled between Collingwood and Port Elgin on Jan. 31 or Feb. 1.
