Police officer loses gun magazine during arrest: WRPS

The Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) is asking for help in locating a missing magazine.

The service says the ammunition was lost during an arrest on Tuesday.

Officers responded to a reported disturbance at a business in the Weber Street and Fergus Avenue area of Kitchener.

While arresting a suspect, a brief struggle ensued, and the officer’s service-issued magazine was lost.

Police are asking anyone who finds the magazine to contact them at 519-570-9777 ext. 6370.

Anonymous tips can be left with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Police said the missing magazine is similar to the one featured in the photos below.
