Household items, financial donations needed: Cambridge Shelter Corporation

It takes a village to help someone start over and that’s why the Cambridge Shelter Corporation is seeking donations.
The agency is looking for various household items to support people coming to The Bridges who are starting from scratch and being connected with housing.
While The Bridges helps put a roof over their heads, they need public support to turn those affordable houses into homes by filling them with various things like microwaves, coffee makers, can openers, shower curtains, or bedding.
“Thank you, Cambridge, for having a big heart and helping us every day,” wrote the Cambridge Shelter Corporation in a Facebook post.
A full list of the in-need items can be found below:
- Duvets and blankets (twin and double) *new or unused
- Sheet sets (twin) *new or unused
- Pillows *new or unused
- Pots and pans
- Baking sheets
- Utensil organizer
- Microwave
- Coffee maker
- Kettles
- Towels *new or unused
- Bathmats
- Shower curtains
- Plunger and toilet brushes
