Two people hospitalized after three-vehicle crash in Waterloo

Injuries are reported after a three-vehicle crash on Erb Street West in Waterloo.

The collision occurred late Wednesday afternoon and it led to a full closure on Erb Street at Avondale Road North.

A spokesperson for the Waterloo Regional Police Service confirmed two people were sent to a local hospital. Their injuries are described as being non-life-threatening.

No further details on the crash were immediately available.

Drivers were asked to use an alternate route as Erb Street West remained closed in the area.
