Police closed the Strasburg Road and Block Line Road intersection in Kitchener early Friday evening.

Waterloo Regional Police confirmed the closure on social media shortly after 6 p.m.

No other details on the crash were immediately available, although a police spokesperson described it as an active investigation.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.

COLLISION INVESTIGATION:

Currently investigating a collision at the intersection of Strasburg Road and Block Line Road in Kitchener.

The intersection is closed for the investigation.
