Teen charged after vehicle warm-up theft in Cambridge

A teenager is facing charges after an early morning vehicle theft in Cambridge.

Police were called Feb. 4 shortly after 6 a.m. when a vehicle that was left running to warm-up was stolen from the Taylor Avenue and Elliott Street area.

Officers tracked down the stolen vehicle about two hours later around King Street East and Waterloo Street.

One of the occupants, a 16-year-old from Cambridge, was arrested at the scene and charged.

A second occupant fled on foot and remains at large.
