Portion of Eagle Street to close in Cambridge for water main repair

The City of Cambridge is looking to replace two broken water main valves in the city, bringing a sizeable closure to Eagle Street North beginning on Tuesday.
Work on those broken valves, located between Oakwood Street and Hickory Street, will require the closure of Eagle Street North between Concession Road and King Street East.
That closure is expected to remain in place until Friday.
Motorists are encouraged to follow posted detours around that work zone, using Bishop Street North to navigate between King Street East and Concession Road.
