Lawn bowling tournament in Kitchener to support Kidney Foundation of Canada

Heritage Greens Lawn Bowling in Kitchener are hosting a charity event on Saturday morning that will also feature a chance to get in on some competitive action.

The second annual Kidney Bowl will run from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Heritage Greens Lawn Bowling at 600 Heritage Dr. in Kitchener.

The day will feature a clothes drive, where you can donate clothing, footwear, outerwear, belts, blankets, curtains, yarn, luggage and more to help those living with kidney disease and to support the club’s efforts to raise funds for a new grounds.

Events include a tournament of three 14-end games of two bowl triples.

The $30 entry fee will go to the Waterloo Wellington and District chapter of the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
