Police called after woman approaches kids at Kitchener splash pad

Waterloo Regional Police are looking into a series of suspicious incidents at Kitchener’s McLennan Park.

Police were called after an unknown woman allegedly approached kids at the splash pad.

All of the reported incidents happened Sunday between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Some parents confronted the woman and she then left the splash pad area, and was seen sitting with an unknown man on a bench.

The woman is described as being white, 30-years-old, approximately 5’4”, with a medium build and long brown hair. She was wearing a blue swimsuit and red shorts.

The man is described as being white, between 30 and 35-years-old, with a medium build and short brown hair.

Police continue to investigate.
