City of Kitchener celebrates reopening of Alpine Park

The City of Kitchener is hosting an event on Saturday at Alpine Park to celebrate a recently completed project.

The City says the Park Redevelopment Project has been completed and includes a new accessible path, a woodlot trail, playground equipment, a community garden, and a BBQ area.

The park also features provisions for a natural ice rink during winter months.

Alpine Park is located on Kingswood Dr., in the Homer Watson Blvd. and Ottawa St. area.

Mayor Berry Vrbanovic and Councillor Paul Singh will be at the celebratory event,
