Loaded gun and drugs found with stolen vehicle in Kitchener

Regional Police say they found a loaded gun and drugs, and made two arrests, all surrounding a stolen vehicle investigation in Kitchener.
It all happened Sunday, at a residential complex in the Wilson Avenue and Fourth Avenue area.
That’s where officers spotted a vehicle known to be stolen.
When two male suspects came outside and got into the vehicle, they were arrested.
Police said they found a loaded gun, stolen property, and “several controlled substances.”
A 47-year old man from Kitchener, and a 32-year old man are facing several charges:
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle
- Possession of a prohibited/restricted firearm with ammunition
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Careless storage of a firearm
- Possession of stolen property over $5000
- Breach of probation order
- Possess stolen credit card
- Two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Police did not specify where the 32-year old is from.
