Car hits house in Waterloo, police investigating

A road closure was in effect in Waterloo late Friday morning after a car hit a house.

The single-vehicle collision happened in the Dorset Street and Young Street area.

One person was hurt in the crash and sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said their investigation is ongoing, and there’s no current damage estimate available for the residence or the vehicle.

Dorset Street was closed at Young Street but has since reopened.
