Kitchener break-in leads to theft of two vehicles

Waterloo Regional Police are searching for multiple suspects after an early morning break and enter in Kitchener on Halloween.

It happened around 5 a.m. on Oct. 31 at a residence in the Pioneer Tower West area.

Police said four suspects gained access to the home while the resident was inside sleeping.

It’s alleged the thieves stole personal belongings and the car keys to two vehicles that were parked outside.

Those two vehicles were then stolen and last seen being driven toward King Street East.

Police continue to investigate and are asking neighbours in the area to submit any relevant home surveillance or dash-cam video.

Police also reminded homeowners to always lock their windows and doors, including garage doors, and report any suspicious activity to police.
